RENFREW CAMPING NEWS

April 2014 - this season's weekend events Calendar now posted!

2014 - congratulations to the winner of our annual Free-Camping for a Season promotion - this year's lucky camper is John Fisher!

January 2014 - This year's Halifax RV Show (January 23 to 26 at Exhibition Park in Halifax) was another busy one and we welcomed lots of visitors to our booth, happy to share with them all the info on what's happening at our campground this year...

2013 in Review - October - Fall Farewell

Our 2013 season drew to a close with beautiful weather & colours over the Thanksgiving weekend.  Our most faithful seasonal campers were out enjoying their final stay in a less crowded camp with the feel of fall nipping just behind the sunshine, enjoying a more leisurely approach to a hectic holiday than most.

Autumn Colours - Thanksgiving Weekend 2013
Late colour lingers among the seasonal sites on Wimpy Lane. A favourite maple in the Grove has achieved it full colour.
Brilliant leaves put on a display near the peaceful nook of Melody Lane. Count the number of flags adding colour to this river view of Fiddlers Green.
The Renfrew hills are alive with leaves contrasting the green of Golf View. Maple Grove is ringed round with trees in differing stages & tints.

September - Celebrity on-site!

Yes that's right, right here at Renfrew Camping, it's "Classified" having a relaxing few days at the campground, and these two brothers were more than delighted to have their picture taken with the hip hop artist Luke Boyd.

Bouncy Castle - First time at Renfrew Camping!

Saturday August 31 - 10:00am to 6:00pm, free to kids staying at the campground Labour Day Weekend - Our first try at a bouncy house was well received and a 'bouncin' good' time was had by the youngsters!

Halloween in August photos...

The weather called for spooky overcast and dreary rain but the day turned out to be beautiful after all, and the treat or treaters enjoyed their evening tour of the campground with no weather worries to dampen costumes or spirits.

Some of of the kids stopped by the office to get their costumes photographed this year- click to see more...
